The study investigated the major Causes of inconsistency in cast results aluminium products from metal moulds supplied by then Hungarian Technical Partners to Scientific Equipment Development Institute, Minna. for different scientific Schools Laboratories were achieve mass production these products. alloy A6063 ingot used likewise imported. However, another consignment is produced Nigeria Nigerian Aluminium Extrusion Company, Lagos. Result defects including shrinkage, blow holes, etc. remained same, hence need this investigation work ascertain causes traceable either or class group alloys.The outcome as shown could be that pouring speed melting temperature etcetera are responsible obtaining acceptable at operations and with moulds. A particular product mould gives inconsistent varying defects. This applicable all available Institute same time.
